He is the second born in a family of four. How did Bruce Melodie start his music career? Bruce traces his musical journey back to his teenage years. He was an ardent choir boy in his local church. He credits his late mother for encouraging him to be part of the church choir where he felt deeply that he was fulfilling his musical desire. Before long, he decided to go professional and in 2010, he released ‘Tubivemo’ which was one of him most popular songs in the then ‘Ndumiwe’ album which he released in 2013. He managed to get footing in the industry, albeit weakly but he did not give up. 2013 was a critical year for him as it is the period he struggled to go mainstream.
